I've been very happy with Linode www.linode.com.  Excellent support in
the forum and seems to be the most professionally integrated setup out
there.

Well UML is always going to be less good on a shared machine, but I've
had no real problems with Linode.  One planned reboot, one weird UML
kernel bug causing a reboot.

On the service side, they're amazingly responsive.  The key admin guy
(Caker) seems to be online 24/7 and responds in moments to most
requests.
