1. They're not available in *all* computers you come across.
2. Not all hardware and OSs support them
3. You can't rely on being able to boot any random system/OS from them
4. They're way too expensive to carry around en masse

1. How can you imply that any random computer has 'net or Wifi access to
any other random computer?
