I do believe that I stand corrected on this.  I didn't know that the CF
format was based around IDE which explains why you can get microdrives
for it.  Bluetooth is also available in SD/MMC format and I believe that
WiFi is also available in SD/MMC format.

This one I'll argue :)  Based on individual wants it depends on the kit
you want in the (near) future.  Most everything I want is of the small
hand held variety and as such has SD rather than CF expandability.  If
the kit you want has the CF connector, then that is what you should get
:)

Yes, I was talking form factor.  Though it also (currently) applies to
maximum capacity as well in which case it is not a "pro" but a "con".
CF cards are more flexible in this context as you also have the
microdrive CF card available.

I have never seen these and didn't know they existed.  Again, I stand
corrected.

I guess the answer really comes down to the individual needs of the
user, which is what most things come to.
