macchanger will talk, but :

ray macchanger-1.5.0 # macchanger -s dvb0_0
Current MAC: 00:00:00:00:00:00 (Xerox Corporation)

I think this is beacuse dvbnet -- the tool I use to set the PID and
create the adapter -- has not set a mac address for the interface. I
think I need to get the mac address before creating the interface.
