   If Linux takes off in the way we hope there will be many more newcomers,
asking many more basic questions. There are plenty of guides, in fact so
much documentation that many new users are unable to see the wood for the
trees, and in the past some have been put off by the response to their
questions. I feel that they can benefit from configuration help and advice,
and watching an installation, even if they do not bring their own hardware,
while many would be put off by the amount of searching required to discover
the correct book that contains the simple answer required.
