Well I've just installed Debian Sarge on a TP 240X, but I can't be very
helpful to you since It just Worked (TM)

I used an external floppy drive from my old TP 770 firewall and an
Orinocco 11b card. I installed using 3 i386 floppy images from the new Debian
Sarge installer - boot.img, root.img and netdrivers.img. I selected the
2.6.8 kernel and it detected the 11b card. I then completed the install
using the wifi card.

I've got to get used to how slow a Celeron 300 is compared to my dual
Opteron. I've being compiling the 2.6.8 kernel for over eight hours now
and it's still going strong!
