You didn't (and nor did anyone else suggest that he is a bigot), but
Adrian was just spreading FUD amongst [potential] opponents of ID
cards and the NIR.  This is a standard New Labour practice.  There was
a television documentary about it recently featuring a screenshot of
an old GLLUG post.
