    I'm afraid your going to need to use Fetchmail to collect the mail 
from your pop3 accounts Postfix can only handle smtp which is not 
somthing that is easy to set up unless you have your computers up 24x7 
and have a fixed ip.

    Lets get this clear Cyrus stores the mail, Postfix Sorts it and 
fetchmail gets it from another mail store. Its a little complex and this 
is one of the main problems with EMail currently.

    Many internal services do use the local smtp service so its still 
worth making sure this works for things like cron, In the postfix 
configuration set the smarthost to the isp smtp host then anything it 
happerns to get hold of that it does not know what to do with just gets 
forwarded to the isp.
