The drive should say how many blocks it's remapped in its SMART
information:
ID# ATTRIBUTE_NAME FLAG VALUE WORST THRESH TYPE UPDATED WHEN_FAILED RAW_VALUE
/dev/hda:
5 Reallocated_Sector_Ct 0x0013 100 100 036 Pre-fail Always - 9
/dev/hdc:
5 Reallocated_Sector_Ct 0x0033 100 100 036 Pre-fail Always - 0
/dev/hdd:
5 Reallocated_Sector_Ct 0x0033 169 169 063 Pre-fail Always - 212
So, going by that, /home, /usr/local and /var are all somewhat at risk.
/dev/hdc is a new drive bought to replace one which was starting to show
sector errors.
