[Gllug] KVM's

Hi,
 I have just started to use a KVM that requires the use of "scroll lock" and a 
numeric key to go between consuls. 

 On other O/S they work fine but on Linux the PS2 mouse goes beserk and has to 
be dis-connected momentarily and re-connected to get it to behave.

I can only assume that this key combination for the KVM is used by some other 
mapping but I have no idea where to start looking.
 Pointers?  please
