[Gllug] Overpowered 1U server

It appears that Black Cat are hosting in HEX, and the other Redbus 
sites. Power has become a big issue recently, and most providers are now 
charging separately for power on top of basic rack space. Some of the 
more power constrained sites are only offering 4 amps per rack - if you 
want more you pay a substantial extra charge, and it's not always even 
available. Needless to say, 4 amps doesn't go far on a rack full of 1U 
dual CPU Opterons.

Yeah - Opterons aren't exactly low power CPUs, and you've got a fair bit 
crammed in there.

Maybe try these guys - http://www.xifos.net/colo.php. They're hosting in 
  iP House, which is newer than most of the other docklands data centres 
and has more power infrastructure. They're quoting 0.5amps for 1U, which 
still isn't much, but you might be able to negotiate. Anyway, good luck....
