Pretty much all colo providers (Or at least, the ones in London) got 
wacked with price hikes back in september last year due to a major 
merger and the power cost's going up to the datacenters in general. Do 
you happen to know how much power the machine draws when running (In 
Amps)? Alot of people only give you 0.35A per 1U now....

You do have the option to put it somewhere where they dont charge you 
quite so much on power (Look for providers in Maidenhead if your 
interested in that, reasonable place up there)...
