When I was last there the signal was around 50% and the speed was 24M. 
Encryption is WPA. It is authenticating OK, and seems to ping other 
machines on the network OK. Unfortunately I didn't have time to try a 
local to local transfer speed test. My feeling was the bottleneck was 
from the access point out, but I don't see why this would be selective.
