[Gllug] LVM and /dev/sdc vs /dev/sdc1

The only bonus from having a partition table is where you are dual
booting to an OS like Windows which may try and do nasty things to disks
not formatted in a way that it recognises.  If that isn't the case, you
might as well use the parent device.
