[Gllug] Anyone using Virgin Media?

Got the same experience with my Virgin ADSL.
Speeds at peak time are horrible, ping is up and down. IRC over SSH in a
screen can feel like
a 28.8k modem connection sometimes. :-(
My connection syncs at close to 8Mbit and I that's the speed I get if I
schedule a download
at say 4am in the morning. Very few outages though, I think it's just very
very congested.
Bottom line, not recommended!
