[Gllug] Ubuntu and me - suggestions requested (polite ones please)

Both the company I used to work for (moderately large business/consumer
ISP), and the company I presently work for (online video delivery)
operate several hundred Ubuntu server installations. It's a lot more
supportive of newer hardware than Debian, and RPM-based distros are a
pain in the arse to package for I find.

I've rarely seen any problems, and only as a result of the upstream code
which affects other distros as well. If you expect to operate a server
infrastructure without the capability to solve problems as they arise,
you might as well stick to Windows ;)
