I'm not sure I would consider it premature optimisation.  I've got a list of
webservers I can install using apt and I want to pick one.  I think "the
smallest that supports ssi" is a reasonable way to choose which to install.
 Alternatively I could pick the first one alphabetically and go with apache
:-)
