I really enjoyed C# and was surprised I've learnt it in under 48
hours. That was 5 years ago, I was good at it. I rarely use it now.
And I refuse to go anywhere with Mono.

So I've been looking for a good language to do GUI applications for
Linux ever since. I am not very clever, so the language has to be easy
(or something I can relate to). C# was incredibly easy to pickup. The
free training videos at the time helped. So maybe that is how I learn
fast: good video tutorials.
