I've found a number of chaps roles via mailing lists so I think is
beneficial to the list to include occasional, correctly worded posting
from Co's & recruiters alike.. that said, even though I spend all my
time in the recruitment World I'd much prefer to listen to technical
discussion from these threads than wrangling over the merits of a
position worded correctly, or otherwise..! & since everyone - well,
almost everyone! ;) - will undoubtedly be better than me technically on
this list I'd suspect I'm not alone in that thought!
I think if anyone has an issue with a post, surely an off-list note to
'please observe correct etiquette' for any future postings should do the
trick & save everyone else not as interested the pleasure of listening
to the ensuing wrangling! IMO..

I think 99% of us realise that, and as has been eloquently stated
already, your post was absolutely spot on. Thank you for making the
effort.

With my own gllug admin hat on, let me say how sad that makes me feel.
I'm very sorry you've been upset by a minority of folk with strong
views on the subject of recruitment. I do hope you persevere - I
firmly believe that small businesses and LUGs should be partners and
friends - supporting and helping each other. If do hope we don't lose
your friendship.
