Certainly I've got a box where the BIOS simply chokes if it detects a
large disc. That's not a serious problem - Linux can detect them
afterwards even if BIOS detection is disabled for that slot - but it
means she has to have one small (6 Gb) disc in, or else boot from a CD
with something ingenious on it.
