'Driving - one of the most repetitive tasks people do - ideally suited to
computers' ???

If you really think that I sincerely hope you don't drive yourself;
the 'mechanics' of driving a car may be repetitive (and achieved by
computers) but the road skills (anticipating little old ladies , children
steping off the kerb, other drivers doing strange things) are skills that
have to be acquired by EXPERIENCE.  Thats why amonst other reasons, insurance
companies charge young/new drivers large premiums.
