There's a reason why everyone who has any inkling of a problem leaves
Demon shortly afterwards. Their support (which used, pre- C&W and
certainly pre-Thus, to be excellent) is worse than utterly dire. It
appears to be completely impossible to get the attention of anyone who
knows what he's doing or escalate *any* problem to the point where
*anything* is fixed. If it's not your setup, if it's their fault or BT,
nothing will ever get done until you switch ISPs to one that actually
cares about their customer base.
(At least they've fixed their direly awful misbilling system now. It's
such *fun* to have bailiffs/collection agents/fish of that colour turn
up because you haven't paid Demon for two years, when the real problem
is that Demon *forgot to withdraw anything*.)
