Hello All, hello Steve :),

Sorry for the delayed response to your e-mail (had just a couple of
rough days at work).

I am glad that you find the idea to present Linux to the public still
attractive. It is great to see your ideas for a possible agenda.

The following I think is important to check in advance:
- - We need an computer and especially a end user oriented event with
lots of visitors (the more the better)
- - We can get there a little bit space for one or two tables for little
or even no money (sponsorship from a linux company possible?).
- - We only pay electricity, internet access etc. and get the money
together in advance
- - We need volunteers (depending on our program min. 2 persons at a
time) with Linux skills to cover a day AND to arrange things in
advance like bringing computers, helping to transport the tables,
preparing the presentations, tidying up afterwards etc.

I am still keen to address especially the end users of Windows and to
show them the alternatives Linux offers to them and how they can get a
Linux without missing their used things like internet, multimedia,
printing, photo and video, word processing, creating working sheets etc.

If we find enough people which are interested to help with this
project we should have a meeting/dinner to bring our plans forward.
Would be great to hear your ideas.

Best regards
Christian
