[Gloucs] Automount CD/DVDs, but not iPod?

Select Desktop->preferences->"Removable drives and media", then on the
storage tab, uncheck "Mount removable drives when hot-plugged". That
should stop the ipod auto-mounting.  When you want to mount the drive,
you should be able to find an icon in the places->computer window.
Just right click and select mount.

This is all based on Gnome 2.14 as comes with Debian etch.  I can't
recall which version of Gnome comes with Ubuntu 6.06, hopefully these
options are available there too.
