Hi Paul,
I've done this before with the latest Symantec PCAnyWhere because at
the time VNC wasn't working with Vista. They have a Java version for
Linux that runs in X quite well.
Although if I had to do it now, I'd probably put UltraVNC on the windows
comp and download Mandriva packages for VNC. (Not that you'd have the
Vista issue I had, but he may well upgrade at some point so it's nice to
keep with something familiar).
