I normally use local main delivery and an exim4 server.  However, I have
just created a test account using direct smtp via smtp.blueyonder.co.uk
(my ISP too).  The mail was sent fine.  I double checked my exim4 logs
to make sure the message was not sent using that.  All I entered was the
blueyonder smtp address and left all the other setting at there
defaults.  Sorry that does not help. I'm using version 2.6.0-1 BTW.
