Hi Bob.

I too would be happy to run Debian (which is my favourite distro) on my 64-bit Ubuntu Maverick machine.

I have no need (or desire) for Windows.

KVM is attractive because it is based on the Linux kernel.
Xen is attractive because it is GNU.

I have a preference for FLOSS where possible.

My main concern would be any unwanted crash, or other fall-out, which might result from these tests.

Can I put the guest OS on a plug-in USB flash stick ?
