[Herefordshire] Having a blonde moment!!!!

Hi,

I always think of this as a programers editor and to be used for when you want to do specific jobs on a file which are very boring. For example, to do indents on code when specific code is input into the system. For simple text editing I always use VI, and lately Nano.

Andrew.

Does anyone here use Emacs? What do you use it for? Was it difficult to learn?

I've had a look at it a couple of times but always found something
that's easier to learn for the job I want it to do.
