Hi Julian
Many thanks for arranging this - difficulties here almost certainly
will mean I can't make it. So a very happy Christmas to everyone and
many thanks for all your help.
A puzzle for the list after Christmas. Thanks to Julian and Mark I
am using OO to process some of my health-care data with good success.
Only problem is that Saving/ Search & Replace takes seconds in Excel
but several minutes (like 10) in Open Office. Machine has IGhz
processor, loads of RAM - Data sets have about 50-60000 rows and up to
122 columns so are quite large. Can supply more details if anyone has
any thoughts.
Have a good evening on Tuesday - my just see you but I doubt it
