Inkscape is good. I've been using it in place of Coreldraw at work. The 
bitmap to vector tool works quite well. I'm still getting used to 
Inkscape and its tools, but its quite easy to use, with lots of tool-tips.

Perhaps you could give us a quick lesson in it at a meeting sometime?
