Brilliant Julian, I don't know why I got Evince by default with Edgy, probably because its being fully open source. However it seems to be under development and not fully functioning yet. I installed acrobat and printed the phone handbook just as I wanted it.
Thanks

Has anyone been successful with these printing features, with this or any other pdf viewer? I want to print pages of a mobile phone instruction book which I have downloaded. It has very small pages and scaling up would help.
