[HLUG] mandriva wont go away

Hi,

The problem is that Grub/Lilo is still on the MBR, and is referencing
the disk which is working correctly. It would probably fail during the
boot at some point. If you install another OS on the top, it will work,
or use http://dban.sourceforge.net to get rid of it completely.

Andrew.

Subject: [HLUG] mandriva wont go away

ive deleted all the ext3 partitions

and only got one fat32 partition with dos command.com on it
i did format c: /s
to make it bootable

but whenever i ctrl-alt-del
a blue penguin saying Mandriva Linus
appears and looks smugly at me...

how can i eradicate it
so the pc will boot into my dos partition
and then i can install ubuntu?

aaarrrrggggghhhhh
