Hi all,

Anyone out there do data recovery??? I have a very very dead usb memory stick 
containing cvs a gsp xml file and some other word docs. I took it up to PC 
world to get the data off they couldnt do it. I was going to buy another usb 
device the same so I could move the chip from one usb stick to another but 
was informed that this would blank the memory of the usb drive i have.

1. Does anyone know anywhere does proper data recovery?
2. my second option run another stick the same as mine in parallel so that it 
is being driven and powered off the other device?

This is quite a hard thing to do as it means wiring another usb memory stick 
to the memory i have on mine... 

WEll any one have thoughts please pass them on except...

you should have backed them up .... 
Doh if only i had of thought of that one :( still in good spirits

by the way PC world Guaranteed to get the data off if i paid £700
