[HLUG] Linux install problems

 From looking at the thread it looks to be a fairly awkward machine.  
Have you tried the alternate CD, which should get around some of the  
graphics problems, as it is a text based installer. The next release  
has some X improvements, so it may be worth holding out for if it  
proves to be a very big problem.
