Hi Jeff, hope you are well.
I looked into using Empathy the other day, and although it does offer
video and voice chat , its only jabber based at present. but they do say
that other plugins will follow soon. So you may want to check if there
is a PPA for this package to allow you to use a newer version than in
8.04.
On, another matter, I will be in London on Sat at the Linux Expo, so if
you're around it would be nice to catch up. I'll be going on the train,
so if any others are going, please contact me, and I'll look out for
you.
