Fair enough! :oP

I'm not blaming you, as soon as I saw that you were using Hotmail I
realised where the issue lay(!) - I just thought I'd try and point it
out. You're not the only one on the list who sends email that gets
mangled from time to time.

Thank you.

Humour is definitely a requirement of and Mailing list - I just
couldn't read the email, so I probably missed it! As for why we
shouldn't have a forum, that's like asking why you should use Exim
instead of Sendmail, KDE instead of Gnome or Vi instead of Emacs -
it's guaranteed to start a fight - personally, I prefer mailing lists
as I don't have time to scan through a forum site looking for new
posts or replies to threads that I'm interested in, my mail-clients
sort things by thread for me so I just need to scan down the list of
new emails and read that thread.

As I said, the attack wasn't meant to be against you personally (more
against Hotmail than anything else!) and moving to GoogleMail will
make matters of formatting/replying/threading much easier.

Hope I've cleared up a few things, if not, let me know and I'll try to
help where I can.

Kind regards,

Matt.
