[HLUG] Udev problem

Hi there

Got a problem after updating world on my gentoo. It updated udev, now  
at boot udev complains it can't work with my oldish kernel. And here  
begins the trouble: no udev, no usb, no keyboard.
Does anybody know a trick, besides getting a ps2 adapter (mouse on ps2  
is working), or playing a back up back on?
