Cool !
I've just started working at the National Museum of Computing at
Bletchley Park as a volunteer.
I even got to work on the Elliot 803 the other day including helping to
swap out a sensor amplifier for the 40-bit ferrite core memory !!
In the next month or so, there is to be a new display in regards to
Personal Computing that looks to be pretty good.
There is a brand new website for the museum at
http://www.tnmoc.org/home.aspx (check out the bit about PixelH8 - music
from vintage computers !)
I'm working there 1 Sunday a month, so it is hoped that it will be open
on Sundays too in the near future. (currently only Thurs and Sat
afternoons).
If you've not been before, I can thoroughly recommend it. I would also
recommend going to the Churchill museum at Bletchley - it quite often
gets overlooked but it is an absolutely amazing private collection of
Winston Churchill memorabilia.
(there's even a model railway exhibition to have a look at - a post
office with first day covers, etc)
Though I will warn you that the canteen can be quite pricey, so you may
want to consider a packed lunch.
Rob
One thing I must say
