Well, you need to set up "repositories" on the server and some way to
access these from client machine, either using the included svnserve
or through Apache. I tend to go for Apache because it makes
authentication easy to set up and if you use Trac too then it's easy
to setup on Apache too.
The o'reilly book by the developers is freely available from http://svnbook.redbean.com
. There is also "Pragmatic Version Control with Subversion" which is a
good guide for the best way to work with Subversion.
