Hi Chris,
I'm a relative newbie myself, having got fed up with the never ending
need to upgrade my OS to run a new piece of kit, and then finding that
my computer couldn't handle more recent products originating from
Redmond.
I'm currently running Ubuntu 9.10

I've got LXF cover disks with most of the Ubuntu releases for the past
2 years, and would be happy to loan you any of them.

Can anyone give advice as to whether it is worthwhile installing
Ubuntu 10.04 ?
I got part way through downloading the upgrade when my broadband went,
so I reverted to 9.10, and the next day started to read the horror
stories. Feedback from anyone with practical experience would be good.

One day I will get to a meeting, but work trips keep clashing.

Regard
Tom Poole
