java -version (??)

Ubuntu Lucid 10.04 and Maverick install the openjdk java environment, not
the sun one. Although the openjdk applications are supposed to be a lot
better these days, I tend to find the sun java packages are better.

if you install the sun-java6-bin associated packages, ie sun-java6-jre etc,
it may help.

Why it suddenly caused problems today, I dont know ..
