Hi all,

I am hoping to come along. I would certainly like to, as it's the last
one at Cookeys (the end of a mini-era for our LUG). I'm sad to hear
that Matthew is closing the shop.

I have some old computer gear up for grabs (free of course) if anyone is
interested. There is a beige PC mini-tower case with noisy ATX PSU and
nothing else, a Lexmark inkjet printer (makes the right noises so would
probably work with new ink), a Tiny scanner (untested), speakers,
keyboard, mouse, a couple of small hard disks (around 6GB I think), a
box full of leads, and other odds and sods. I'll have a sort out
tomorrow as there is probably more in the cellar. If anyone is
interested please let me know and I will put it all in the car tomorrow
evening.

Regarding the venue, we are welcome at meet at my home in Hereford city
centre. Probably not as good as a public venue, but it's free, there is
free car parking close by, wi-fi and tea/coffee available, and two
minutes walk to Wetherspoons. :)

Best regards,
Paul Stenning
