I made it from Kington to Ludlow this morning. Took me only 50 min,  
though. But mainly due to the other drivers, some going like 15mph on  
the straight. And the roads were way better an hour later when I did a  
farm visit. Don't know about the real back lanes though.

Probably won't make it tonight, but not because of the weather, if  
it's not getting worse. ;)
