Linux mint 16 stable is now available on heanet, these are the cinnamon and mate versions, 32 and 64 bit versions based on ubuntu. Sadly still no word on the new Debian based version. http://ftp.heanet.ie/mirrors/linuxmint.com/stable/16/ May give it a go, using Majaro at the moment, arch based, but a bit too rough around the edges.
