Yes, there should be posts about winxp expiring.

Unfortunately I'm having troubles getting a UK keyboard
on the pre-release versions of Lubuntu from
http://cdimages.ubuntu.com/lubuntu/daily-live/current/
so can't yet recommend it.

Hope they fix it before it's release Easter Thursday.

I think Lubuntu is smaller than Mint 
and therefore better for older ex-xp computers.
