Hi Geoff

I *think* that the BBC iPlayer no longer uses flashes and instead uses
html5 which works fine in Linux

Certainly last time I used iPlayer about a month ago on mint 17 it was fine

You can still use flash on Linux too but you're right Linux support is
restricted to security updates only now
