Covid-19 Recovery Plan Fund: Get Active - Cultural Activities Grant
The Cultural Activities Grant is being funded from the Government’s Covid-19 Outbreak Management Funds grant as part of Herefordshire Council’s Covid-19 recovery plan, supporting economic recovery and improving wellbeing in Herefordshire. We are now accepting applications up to £10,000.

Deadline for applications is the 14th October

Get Active - Cultural Activities Grant Aims
The aims of the grant scheme is to build and accelerate projects that seek to improve the overall physical and mental wellbeing across all ages of the Herefordshire population and improve the lives of those most affected fastest through cultural activities.

What can the grant be used for?
Cultural activity is one way in which we can improve mental health and wellbeing and getting people engaged back into society following long periods of lockdown and restricted access to services. You can apply for a grant to fund any activity, or equipment that will increase direct delivery of cultural activity, at a community level in Herefordshire. By culture we mean performing arts, visual art, craft, film & photography, creative writing, digital arts, combined arts, museums, heritage and public art.

The Elmley Foundation: Elmley Small Arts grants in Herefordshire and Worcestershire
This scheme is for community groups in Herefordshire and Worcestershire planning arts events or purchases. There are two funds – Events and Activities and Arts Equipment.  Both offer up to all the projected cost, to a maximum of £1,000. There are separate Guidelines for each fund.

Deadline 15th October 2021 for decision by 29th October 2021

The scheme is administered on behalf of the Foundation by Community First, the Community Council for Herefordshire and Worcestershire. Guidelines and application forms are available to download online. Please ensure that you do not complete the application form until you have read the guidelines thoroughly.
