hi,

I tried out the tutorial and was pleasantly surprised how easy it was and how
well it worked. So thanks for putting that together.

But the "unwrapped" cylinders side was wonky, only a little bit and I am sure
I could have manually corrected it. Which seems odd as the cylinder had been
added after creating a new scene and deleting the default cube.

I scribbled on the exported map with the gimp "use gradient" brush and was
very pleased with the result.

You have opened a whole new blendery world to me.

Maybe you could do a Materials and Textures talk next month ?
