[Herts] UPS anyone?

The battery that the UPS uses is a Panasonic UP-RW1232P1 12V. A suitable
replacement is the CSB HR1224WF2F1 from MDS Batteries
http://www.mdsbattery.co.uk/

A link to the battery itself

The batteries are 15-99 inc VAT + delivery (4-99).

The UPS's will be free on a first come first served basis. I have 4
initially and think I have some more somewhere if there is interest?.

While these units wont keep your PC running for hours in a power cut
they will keep your desktop running long enough to shut it down
gracefully in the event of a power cut or keep you from loosing data in
a brown out / brief power outage.
