[Klug-general] inotify in kernel 2.6.14

Hi there,
  I've just upgraded my kernel to 2.6.14, and thankfully inotify is now
merged into the kernel (as of 2.6.13.2), however I don't get inotify
printing to dmesg, i don't know if i need a kernel command line option
(which i never used to), I'm working on an auto upload app and I need
inotify to do this, if anyone can offer some insight into how i get this
to work in kernel 2.6.14 I would be very grateful.
